About the Program
Thank you for your interest in the Webster Groves Parks and Recreation slow pitch softball leagues. For the 2017 season, we offer a wide range of men's and coed leagues. Please read the information below carefully. Fall Softball Season
Do not forget to fill out your alcohol permits and rosters. Please return them to the Webster Groves Recreation Complex in person or by fax to (314) 963-5685. Returning teams may NOW register.
New teams may register beginning August 1st.
Note: priority is given to walk in registrations.

2017 Spring/Summer Schedules:
All leagues are for participants 18 years of age or older.
The Webster Groves Parks and Recreation staff reserves the right to restrict team placement in specific leagues/divisions based on their efforts to produce competitive balance and an enjoyable experience for each team.
We feature slow pitch softball played under current ASA rules. Check out the ASA website for a complete listing of outlawed bats. Spring leagues play 9 single games followed by a single elimination playoff tournament for the top teams. Men's leagues play 12 single games followed by a single elimination playoff tournament for the top teams. Games are scheduled for 7 innings, with a 1 hour time limit. Umpire, bases, and balls are supplied.
Game times for weeknight leagues will be scheduled for 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Sunday co-ed times start at 12 p.m., games could start later in the day on Sundays depending on the number of teams that register.
All games are played at Blackburn Park, at the corner of Edgar and E. Jackson Roads. Blackburn Park features one lit softball field with an outfield fence (measurements: 258’ in left, 300’ in center, 278’ in right) and covered dugouts.
Blackburn Park also features, one non-lit softball field, a main shelter, restrooms, a large playground, several smaller shelters, tennis courts, and a walking path.
There is no concession stand on site. You may bring your own adult beverages with an alcohol permit. Permits are available at the Recreation Complex at no cost. Absolutely NO glass bottles are permitted in the park.
